"Electrophysiology (EP) Update"

Dear Colleagues,
We warmly invite you to our 1st EP Update on 02.10.2024 at the Lahr Heart Center, where we will introduce the Electrophysiology Section, established in 2023, at the HZ-Lahr Department of Internal Medicine/Cardiology.
We would like to discuss the following questions with you, our colleagues:
What treatments does a patient with atrial fibrillation and heart failure need (medication, intervention, cardiovascular comorbidities, etc.), and what is hybrid therapy for atrial fibrillation?
How are ventricular tachycardias treated, who benefits from ablation, and who needs circulatory support during the procedure?
When is conduction system pacing used, and is it an alternative to CRT for treating heart failure?
We would like to discuss the latest recommendations with you and show you what the Heart Center offers as an interdisciplinary center with cardiology, cardiac surgery and specialized anesthesiology.
